Drop the kingdom onto an interactive map and build the world behind the name.

A kingdom's name is the first impression of an entire civilization. "Frostheim" tells a different story than "Al-Zahrpur" or "Caerdún." This generator combines cultural phonetics with polity types to create names that instantly communicate the feel of your nation.
Choose a culture to control the phonetic style — Western for classic English fantasy, Norse for Viking-inspired realms, Celtic for ancient Gaelic kingdoms, Arabian for desert empires, Eastern for Asian-inspired courts, Classical for Greco-Roman civilizations, or Dark for sinister domains. Then pick a polity type to set the political structure: Kingdom, Empire, Duchy, Republic, or Tribal Land.

Building a Kingdom from Its Name
The best kingdom names aren't random — they encode cultural information. When you generate a name, reverse-engineer what it implies and build from there:
- The culture sets the aesthetics — A Norse kingdom has longships, mead halls, and rune magic. An Arabian one has desert caravans, mosaic palaces, and djinn. Let the phonetics guide the world design.
- The polity type sets the politics — An empire has conquered subjects, border tensions, and succession crises. A republic has senates, factions, and elections. A tribal land has chieftains, rituals, and migration patterns.
- The suffix hints at geography — Names ending in -fjord, -heim, -berg suggest mountains and cold. Names ending in -shore, -haven, -port suggest coastal trade. Names ending in -vale, -moor, -fen suggest lowlands.
